Ardrossan Angus graze cattle on the New South Wales and Victoria border, Southern Riverina, Upper Murray, Northern New South Wales and Central Queensland districts. The operation is largely developed through the use of artificial breeding and embryo transfer.
Ardrossan Angus currently has 1000 Herd Book Registered (HBR) Angus breeding females. These females complement our extensive Ultrablack herd consisting of 400 breeding females and our commercial herd consisting of 2000 breeding females. The strong focus over several decades in the Ardrossan herd continues to be structural soundness, fertility, and industry focused breeding.
We are fortunate to operate in the high rainfall zone allowing us to produce high quality pastures for our cattle to graze.
This allows our cattle to have access to a high quality nutritional diet throughout many seasons.
The strong focus over several decades in the Ardrossan herd continues to be structural soundness, fertility and industry focused breeding. If you have any questions about our herd, get in touch with us below.
