The business has over three decades of experience, breeding seedstock and commercial females producing genetics that have an influence globally. Ardrossan Angus graze cattle on the border of New South Wales and Victoria in the Southern Riverina and Upper Murray districts as well as Northern New South Wales and Central Queensland. The operation has largely been developed through the use of artificial insemination and embryo transfer.
Ardrossan Angus has 1000 herd book registered (HBR) Angus breeding females. These females complement our registered Ultrablack herd consisting of 400 breeding females and our extensive commercial herd consisting of 2000 females. The strong focus over several decades in the Ardrossan herd continues to be structural soundness, fertility, and industry focused breeding.
